Why the marketing stack moved to Git-backed content

The public web layer should be easy to host, easy to version, and cheap to maintain.

The previous website setup was overpowered for what the product needs right now.

For Sendware, the right marketing stack is the one that gets out of the way:

  1. static output for CDN deployment
  2. strong SEO and content performance by default
  3. shared UI so the visual system does not fragment
  4. content editing that stays versioned in Git

That is why the new direction is Astro for the public sites and a Git-backed CMS for editorial work.
